OKX Delisting: What MAJOR and J Holders Should Know Now the August 26 Withdrawal Deadline Has Passed
Recap as of September 27, 2026: OKX had announced it would halt withdrawals of the tokens MAJOR and J on August 26, 2026 at 08:00 UTC; they had not been tradable there since the start of June. This article describes the situation before the deadline.

Anyone holding MAJOR or J in an account at OKX has to act by Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 08:00 UTC. After that the exchange suspends withdrawals of the two crypto assets. That is what the OKX delisting announcement of May 26, 2026 says, and that announcement is the only binding source for the date. Trading has been impossible at OKX since the beginning of June; what ends now is the way out.
Two small tokens from the airdrop world are affected, the kind many investors picked up along the way and never looked at again. That is exactly what makes the deadline dangerous. A balance nobody watches also misses a cut-off date that has been fixed for three months.
OKX Delisting of MAJOR and J: What Happens on August 26 at 08:00 UTC
A delisting is the permanent removal of a trading pair from a trading platform's offering; the crypto asset disappears from the exchange's order book, while it remains on the blockchain.
OKX published the schedule for MAJOR and J on May 26, 2026 and has worked through it in several stages since. According to the announcement, the sequence runs as follows:
- May 26, 2026, 08:00 UTC: deposits of the affected crypto assets are suspended.
- June 2, 2026, 08:00 to 10:00 UTC: the MAJOR/USDⓈ pair disappears.
- June 5, 2026, 08:00 to 10:00 UTC: MAJOR/USDT and J/USDT follow.
- August 26, 2026, 08:00 UTC: withdrawals of the affected crypto assets are suspended.
The last point is the only one that still calls for action. The three steps before it are complete and cannot be made up. Anyone who wants to keep the balance withdraws it to an address of their own. Anyone who wants to be rid of it has to withdraw it first and sell it elsewhere, because OKX no longer offers a trading pair for it.
OKX Withdrawal Deadline on August 26: Which Local Time Applies
08:00 UTC corresponds to 10:00 CEST in Germany during summer time. The deadline therefore ends on Wednesday morning and not in the evening. That is the most common miscalculation with exchange deadlines, and it costs a full working day of buffer.
Factor in processing time as well. A withdrawal runs as a chain of approval, two-factor confirmation and network confirmation rather than a single click. Add a security review because the destination address is new, and that chain can stretch into hours. Anyone starting on Wednesday morning is working without reserve.
Why the Cut-Off Date Is Not Negotiable
Exchanges fix dates like this in the announcement and as a rule do not move them. The OKX notice contains no caveat holding out the prospect of an extension. Plan on the basis that there will be no second opportunity.
Twelve Weeks Without Trading: Why So Much Time Sits Between the Last Trading Day and the Withdrawal Cut-Off
82 days lie between the last trading day on June 5 and the withdrawal cut-off on August 26, just under twelve weeks. Throughout that period the balance stayed in the account but could no longer be traded. For the exchange this is a grace window. For the investor it is the stretch of time in which a position drops out of sight.
The long gap has an understandable reason. A trading pair can be switched off from one day to the next, a withdrawal infrastructure cannot: node, network connectivity and custody have to keep running as long as a single customer is still allowed to pull out. Exchanges maintain that operation for a limited period and then end it.
In practical terms this means the quiet phase is over. From August 26 the status of the balance changes for the first time since June, and in a direction that cannot be reversed.

Untradable Assets on OKX: What Happens to a Leftover Balance After the Delisting
OKX describes explicitly in the announcement what happens to amounts left behind. Once the delisting is complete, the balances are consolidated in the funding account. At OKX the funding account is the area where holdings outside active trading are kept. The amounts then appear under “Assets” in the “Untradable assets” section.
This state is more awkward than it sounds. The position stays visible in the account and so suggests there is still something to collect. It cannot be traded, and after August 26 it cannot be withdrawn either. It then sits as a number in an overview with nothing to be done about it.
What remains possible in such a case is for the exchange to decide case by case. The announcement gives rise to no entitlement to a subsequent payout. Anyone who wants to avoid that has until Wednesday morning.
Find a crypto exchange with an EU licenceMAJOR and J Today: Which Trading Venues Still List the Tokens
A withdrawal only pays off if the crypto asset still has a market somewhere afterwards. cryptoticker.io compiled this analysis itself on August 22, 2026. Method: a call to the public CoinGecko programming interface for the two entries on August 22, 2026 at 03:52 UTC, evaluating the reported trading pairs and the names of the trading venues. Two crypto assets were examined.
For MAJOR the query shows eleven trading pairs on eleven venues: Biconomy.com, Bitunix, Bybit, CoinEx, CoinW, Gate, KuCoin, LBank, MEXC, Mudrex and Ourbit. The price stood at $0.0424 and the reported trading volume of the preceding 24 hours at $808,305. CoinGecko lists MAJOR in the Gaming and Telegram Apps categories; the token comes out of the world of a Telegram game and was distributed widely to retail investors by airdrop.
For J, the token of the Jambo project, the same query shows five trading pairs on five venues: BVOX, Koinpark, KuCoin and the decentralised exchanges Orca and Raydium. The price stood at $0.0012756 and the reported market capitalisation at $269,159. The token sits on Solana.
What this survey does not show: whether the venues named accept retail customers from Germany, whether they are licensed in the EU, how deep the order books actually are and whether the reported volumes were compiled reliably. You have to check that yourself case by case. If a European licence matters to you when picking a fallback exchange, the comparison of regulated crypto exchanges is the place to start.
J Trading Volume at $2,655: Why Withdrawing and Selling Are Two Different Things
Trading volume indicates the total value for which a crypto asset was traded over a period; it is the most usable indication of whether a position can be sold at all.
For J that figure stood at $2,655 over the 24-hour period measured. That is the turnover of a used compact car, spread across five trading venues and a full day. A position of a few hundred dollars can already push the price noticeably in a market that thin.
MAJOR looks considerably better at $808,305 in 24 hours, but remains far from its peak. CoinGecko puts the all-time high at $1.90 on November 28, 2024; measured against that, the token was trading around 97.8 percent lower on August 22, 2026. For J the all-time high is $0.9105 on January 22, 2025, a distance of roughly 99.9 percent.
An uncomfortable separation follows from this. The August 26 deadline decides whether you can still move your tokens. Whether there is any money left to make from them is decided by the market afterwards, and it looks thin for both.
Preparing an OKX Withdrawal: Which Wallet Address and Which Network You Need
A withdrawal rarely fails on willingness and often on preparation. Three things have to be right before you start the process.
The Network
OKX specifies in the withdrawal dialogue which networks a crypto asset can leave the house through. That specification is the binding one; what a price portal writes about the underlying blockchain does not override it. Choose a network the destination address does not serve and the amount is lost, regardless of the deadline.
The Destination Address
The receiving address has to match the chosen network and sit in a wallet you control yourself. Set it up early enough: some exchanges put new withdrawal addresses on hold for a waiting period, and that waiting period runs against the cut-off date.
The Amount
A minimum withdrawal amount applies to every crypto asset. If your balance falls below it, the system refuses the transfer while the deadline keeps running. Check that figure in the withdrawal dialogue before you rely on the process.

Doing the Math on Small Balances: When Withdrawing MAJOR or J Stops Being Worth It
Convert the balance once before you put effort into it. At the prices measured on August 22, 2026, 1,000 MAJOR came to around $42 and 1,000 J to around $1.28. With J that means almost any withdrawal fee would exceed the value of the position.
This is not a recommendation to leave the balance sitting. It is a prompt to take the decision deliberately instead of postponing it. Anyone who does the math and concludes that the transfer is not worth it has decided. Anyone who simply lets the deadline pass has merely forgotten.
A middle path is missing here: because OKX no longer runs a trading pair, the remaining balance can no longer be converted into a larger currency on the platform either. The small-balance conversion function some exchanges offer requires an active trading pair.
Hold your tokens in self-custodyAnnouncement in English Only: What the Language Version Means for OKX Customers in Germany
The delisting notice sits in the European help area of OKX in English. In a check on August 22, 2026 the English-language addresses of the EU and the US version answered with status 200 and were therefore reachable. Five obvious German-language addresses in the same help area answered with 404, among them the German-language help area itself and the overview page of the delisting notices.
This measurement says something only about the addresses called. Whether OKX informs its German-speaking customers by email, by notification in the app or through some other route remains open.
One consequence remains for practical purposes. Anyone tracking deadlines exclusively through German-language help pages regularly sees dates like this at international trading venues too late. An overview of current deadlines at the major providers is in our deadline overview for crypto exchanges.
The Three-Month Rule at OKX: Why GODS, PRCL and DUCK Have Until November 7
The MAJOR and J case does not stand alone. On August 7, 2026 OKX announced a second delisting, this time for GODS, PRCL and DUCK. Deposits were suspended the same day at 08:00 UTC, and the trading pairs disappeared on August 14 and August 17, each time between 08:00 and 10:00 UTC. According to that announcement, withdrawals are possible until November 7, 2026, 08:00 UTC.
Both announcements follow the same pattern. Exactly three months lie between the day of the notice and the end of withdrawals: from May 26 to August 26 for MAJOR and J, from August 7 to November 7 for GODS, PRCL and DUCK. Two cases do not make a rule yet, but they produce a usable rule of thumb. Anyone who sees a delisting notice from this exchange sets the calendar three months out rather than to the last trading day.
For GODS, PRCL and DUCK this means in concrete terms: trading ended in mid-August, the withdrawal window runs until the start of November. Anyone holding one of these balances has time but should note the date now.
Checking the OKX Withdrawal Deadline: What to Take Away
- Look into the account today. Open the funding account at OKX and check whether MAJOR or J are sitting there. The balance can be small and unattended for months, precisely because these are airdrop tokens. If you are considering a change of trading venue anyway, the crypto exchange comparison helps with the choice.
- Prepare the destination address and network before Tuesday evening. Set up the receiving address in a wallet of your own and check in the OKX withdrawal dialogue which network is offered. Suitable applications are in the wallet comparison. New addresses can be subject to a waiting period, and you have only a limited amount of that time left.
- Do the math, then decide. Convert the balance at the current price and compare it with the withdrawal fee. If the decision goes against the transfer, that is fine as long as it is taken deliberately. Anyone looking for an exchange with a European licence afterwards will find one in the comparison of regulated crypto exchanges.
The binding dates are in the two OKX notices: the announcement on MAJOR and J of May 26, 2026 and the announcement on GODS, PRCL and DUCK of August 7, 2026.
