XDC Network in November 2026: a layer-1 for trade finance, and a price that has lost a third
XDC Network (XDC) is the native coin of a layer-1 network aimed at enterprises, with trade finance as its stated focus. The data provider files it under layer-1, enterprise solutions, masternodes, proof of stake, smart contracts, real world assets protocols and ISO 20022. On 31 October 2026 XDC trades at about $0.031387 and ranks 74th by market capitalisation, at roughly $674.37 million. That places XDC in a group large enough to carry its own trading venues, yet small enough that a single exchange can shift the picture.
What has changed in recent weeks
The price has moved in two directions within one quarter. XDC opened September at $0.027608, reached a monthly high of $0.037432 and closed at $0.034664. October opened at that level, marked a high of $0.036072 and a low of $0.030792; the daily close on 30 October was $0.031339. Over seven days that leaves a loss of about 4.5 percent and over 30 days a loss of about 10.1 percent, while over 60 days there is a gain of about 13.2 percent and over 90 days a gain of about 19.5 percent. The short horizon points down, the medium one points up.
Why this forecast is cautious
For 2026 the balance is a loss of about 39.0 percent: from an opening price of $0.051444 at the start of the year the price has fallen to about $0.031387, and the twelve-month high of $0.063196 from 26 October 2025 is about 50 percent away. Our scenarios start from the opening price of the year under our methodology, so the average value for 2026 sits practically at today’s price. Anyone placing XDC in context compares it with the networks addressing the same payment and settlement market: with XRP and with Stellar.

What XDC Network is and how the network works
XDC is the coin of the network of the same name and not a token on someone else’s chain: the data provider lists XDC Network as a platform in its own right. According to the project, the network runs a consensus of masternodes and delegated stake, it executes smart contracts and it targets enterprises. The coin pays for transfers and for the execution of contracts.
The history of the asset, in numbers
The data provider has listed XDC since 12 April 2018, which is about 3,124 days. That is a material difference from a fresh launch: there is a price history across several market phases, and a forecast does not have to be extrapolated from a few weeks. Circulating supply is about 21.49 billion XDC out of a reported total of about 38.10 billion, so about 56 percent. The data provider reports no maximum supply. Market capitalisation stands at about $674.37 million, the fully diluted value at about $1,196.00 million. The gap between those two figures is the real caveat on the supply side: about 44 percent of the reported total is not yet circulating.
The function: trade finance and messaging formats
The project’s narrative is narrowly drawn, and it is traceable because it is tied to an existing standard. The network’s developer documentation describes a design for compatibility with the ISO 20022 messaging format used in bank payments, and it names the mapping of message types such as pacs.008 and pain.001. The project also describes its own trade finance applications, among them electronic bills of lading and tokenised invoices. These statements come from the project’s own publications rather than from an independent source, so we treat them as positioning and not as documented adoption. Hedera and VeChain work in the same direction, and on real world assets the field overlaps with Ondo Finance.
One point that does not come from the project
An independent indication of substance sits off chain: the Swiss provider 21Shares has offered an exchange traded product on XDC since 8 July 2025, the 21shares XDC Network Staking ETP with the ticker XDCN and the identifier CH1464217285. Such a product is no substitute for usage figures, but it does show that a supervised issuer has wrapped the asset into a listed instrument, and it opens access for investors without a wallet. For the forecast that means one thing: the demand side does not hang on crypto exchanges alone.
Where XDC trades
We measured the distribution of daily turnover ourselves, across the trading pairs of the spot markets. We captured 83 spot pairs on 59 venues with a combined turnover of about $42.77 million in 24 hours, entirely on central exchanges: no decentralised pool appeared among the spot pairs we evaluated. Nine central exchanges each carry more than one million US dollars, and six of them are large, supervised addresses: HTX with about $6.03 million, KuCoin with about $2.96 million, Kraken with about $2.17 million, Bitfinex with about $2.07 million, Bitget with about $1.63 million and Bybit with about $1.20 million. For an asset ranked 74th, that breadth on major venues is the genuinely good news in this measurement.
And the caveat that goes with it
The top of the same list carries the caveat. The two largest single venues are BitDelta with about $14.43 million and CRMClick with about $6.07 million, together about 48 percent of our measurement, and we count neither among the major addresses. On top of that comes a discrepancy we disclose rather than smooth over: the data provider itself reports only about $19.80 million of daily turnover for XDC, considerably less than our sum across all spot pairs. The difference arises because our sum also includes venues the provider leaves out of its own aggregate. The smaller figure is therefore the dependable one, and what is dependable above all is the breadth across the six major exchanges.
