Raydium in October 2026: the pullback after a record run
Raydium (RAY) is the token of one of the largest decentralised exchanges on Solana. The price stands at around 1.78 US dollars on 15 October 2026. That is about 30 percent below the yearly high of 2.5482 US dollars set on 7 October 2026 – and more than three times the low of 0.5121 US dollars from 6 February 2026.
What changed over the past weeks
September brought the turn. RAY opened the month at 0.7968 US dollars, fell to the monthly low of 0.7858 US dollars on 2 September and climbed to 2.3513 US dollars by 27 September, closing the month at 1.9430 US dollars. The yearly high of 2.5482 US dollars followed on 7 October, after which the price retreated: the daily close on 14 October was 1.8784 US dollars. Over 60 days that leaves a gain of around 188 percent, over 30 days around 30 percent – and over seven days a loss of around 29 percent.
Why this forecast stays cautious
A gain of 188 percent in 60 days is no basis for extending annual targets in a straight line. Our scenarios therefore start from the year's opening price of 0.8849 US dollars rather than the price after the jump – and the pessimistic path deliberately begins below today's level.

What is Raydium (RAY)?
Raydium is a decentralised exchange on Solana. Users do not swap tokens against the offers of individual traders but against liquidity pools funded by other users – the automated market maker principle that Uniswap established on Ethereum. Raydium also runs a concentrated liquidity model (CLMM): providers set the price range in which their capital works and earn more fees per dollar deployed there. RAY itself is a token on Solana and has traded since 19 February 2021.
LaunchLab and the buyback: how fees reach the token
According to the project documentation, 12 percent of the trading fee goes into buying back RAY; the repurchased tokens sit at a publicly visible address on the chain. That share applies to the swap fee, not to trading volume. A second source of activity is LaunchLab, Raydium's launchpad for new tokens: these first trade along a bonding curve and only move into a Raydium pool with their liquidity once they clear a threshold. In early September 2026 the StonkFun launchpad, which pairs tokens against tokenised stocks and ETFs, moved its new issues onto LaunchLab; Raydium's protocol revenue then reached its highest daily figure since July 2025. The direct counterpart in that business is Pump.fun.

What actually moves the RAY price
First, trading volume on Solana: Raydium earns swap fees, and those depend on how much is traded on its chain. Second, competition among launchpads – if new token issuance moves to another provider the revenue stream disappears quickly, as StonkFun's arrival in September showed in the other direction. Third, supply: around 285 million of the 555 million RAY are not yet in circulation, and every expansion feeds directly into the valuation. Fourth, the quality of liquidity: on 15 October 2026 six major centralised exchanges each recorded more than 1 million US dollars of daily turnover – Binance with around 10.8 million, OKX with 4.7 million, Coinbase with 2.7 million, HTX with 2.5 million, Kraken with 1.3 million and Bitget with 1.1 million US dollars. Decentralised venues accounted for only around 12 percent of the counted volume.
Where this forecast can fail
The revenue jump of recent weeks clearly rests on a single integration. Launchpad volume is mobile: it follows attention, not a contract, and it can travel back the same way it came. On top of that, RAY draws its value from the fees of a business that depends on a handful of venues on a single chain – an outage or a loss of confidence in Solana hits Raydium directly.
