ZenLedger is especially appreciated for its broad coverage: every plan supports unlimited exchanges as well as DeFi, staking, and NFTs. The number of transactions, however, is capped per plan: Silver allows up to 100, Gold up to 5,000, and Platinum up to 15,000. Unlimited transactions cost an extra USD 600. With over 400 exchanges and 30+ DeFi protocols, ZenLedger offers solid integration coverage, complemented by expanded DeFi support. The tax methods FIFO, LIFO, and HIFO are supported, which also makes it suitable for German users.

The integrated Tax-Loss Harvesting tool for offsetting losses is viewed positively as a useful additional feature. CPA partnerships provide access to professional tax advice when needed, and 7-day support offers above-average availability. SOC-compliant security standards and two-factor authentication contribute to data security. ZenLedger's pricing page does not list a free plan (as of October 11, 2026).

The country focus is on the US, the UK, and Australia, so European and especially German tax coverage is considered room for improvement. According to the pricing page (as of October 11, 2026), Silver costs USD 49, Gold USD 199, and Platinum USD 399 per year; with unlimited transactions, the total reaches up to USD 999. At the higher tiers, this may occasionally be seen as room for improvement. A native mobile app is not currently available. ZenLedger is therefore considered particularly suitable for high-volume traders in the Anglo-American market who use many exchanges and DeFi applications.
