Genesis Vision – Decentralized Fund Management

DeFi has come a long way from the primitive core protocols to now those involving complex multiple core competencies. One field that it appears to be deficient in is the fund management – service involving crypto-assets offering active and passive strategies to generate profits on one’s assets with little action on behalf of the user. Enter Genesis Vision.

The cryptocurrency market-capitalization is at $1.76 trillion currently and the wealth management industry was recently estimated at an astronomical $89 trillion in assets under management (AUM) in 2019. Of course, the potential is huge for this kind of protocol. Luckily for Genesis Vision, there is barely any competition out there.

What’s Genesis Vision?

Genesis Vision is a decentralized blockchain fund management protocol. It allows users to delegate management of their funds to other wealth managers. In fact, the best part is that it not only encompasses cryptos, but it includes forex, metals, stocks, indices, and commodities. This service happens through brokerages and exchanges in partnership with the platform.

You can create/manage your own investment programs with highly customizable parameters, delegate your funds for management, invest directly into assets, copy other traders (with a publicly visible profile) – all from one interface. In addition, the wealth managers have a profile for tracking their performance and past record, so credibility can be established.

The benefit is that Genesis Vision traders can monetize their time and skills, users can benefit from each other, plus inexperienced traders or investors can simply allow others to manage their money in lieu of fees, etc. It represents a non-custodial, decentralized and fully transparent platform.

Features Of The Platform

The investment deposits happen with BTC, ETH, GVT, USDT, or USDC. There’s a FIAT-on-Ramp available through MoonPay. Most of the features are available without KYC/AML checks. But, they limited the creation of forex trading accounts and limit removals for investments.

The native token is ERC-20 standard GVT, which is available though both KyberSwap and Binance. For GVT, the supply is 4.4M and the total marketcap is $27.6M, indicative of a massive token value upside potential. Every fund must allocate 1% of it’s assets to GVT, profits are paid off in GVT etc.

Plus, the model is deflationary, so a certain percentage of the profits are burned. It all boils down to the fact that the Genesis Vision is a unique project with no proper competitors. Additionally, it has a potential market cap of hundreds of millions of dollars. The platform receives regular updates and adds more assets.
