As per the project’s announcement, native STRK tokens will be distributed among 1.3 million users. A total of 700 million STRK, constituting 7% of the overall supply of 10 billion tokens, have been earmarked for this airdrop. Eligibility for the reward entails conducting five or more transactions across three or more distinct months, with a cumulative value of at least $100, and possessing 0.005 Ethereum (ETH) or more in one’s wallet prior to November 15, 2023.
Starknet Airdrop Eligibility Criteria
Moreover, participants in the ECMP program, Starknet developers, StarkEx users, Ethereum developers, authors of Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), stakeholders in Ethereum, members of the Ethereum Protocol Guild, and GitHub developers qualify for the airdrop. Users have until June 20, 2024, to claim their entitlement to tokens.
Verifying your eligibility for Provisions and claiming your STRK tokens through the program will be facilitated via the Provisions portal. Be vigilant to ensure you’re visiting the correct URL and steer clear of potential scams.
Beginning at 12 pm (UTC) on February 20th, 2024, STRK will be open for claiming through the Provisions program on the Starknet Mainnet.
It’s essential to note that you’ll require a Starknet wallet to claim your STRK via the Provisions portal. If you already have a Starknet wallet, ensure it’s updated to the latest version and that your account information is current.
Crucially, starting from the launch date of Provisions on February 20th, 2024, all fees associated with claiming STRK via the Provisions portal will be covered by the Starknet Foundation. This applies exclusively to claiming through the official Provisions portal.
Here’s the lowdown on who’s eligible:
StarkNet Users:
Criteria: To be in the running, users need to:
- Have clocked more than five transactions by November 15th, 2023.
- Stayed active for a minimum of three months.
- Conducted transactions totaling $100 or more.
- Maintained a balance of 0.005 ETH or higher in their account by November 15th, 2023.
Starknet early community members:
Criteria: Anyone given the nod under the Starknet Early Community Member Program.
Starknet Developers:
Criteria: Developers must have made at least three commits before November 15th, 2023, with at least one commit made between January 1st, 2018, and November 15th, 2023, to a GitHub repository recognized as part of the Starknet ecosystem.
StarkEx users:
Eligibility Criteria: StarkEx users who’ve completed a minimum of eight transactions before June 1st, 2022, are in the running for Provisions.
Ethereum Developers:
Criteria: Developers who’ve made at least three commits before November 15th, 2023.
EIP Authors:
Criteria: Authors and co-authors of EIPs (including ERCs) who’ve published their proposals using their GitHub handle before November 15th, 2023.
ETH Stakers:
Eligibility Criteria for Starknet Airdrop: Individuals who’ve staked ETH using Ethereum’s proof-of-stake (PoS) model before the Merge (September 15th, 2022).
Members of the Ethereum Protocol Guild:
Requirements: All Protocol Guild members as of November 15th, 2023, are eligible for Provisions. Moreover, 6 million STRK will be dispatched to the Protocol Guild’s vesting contract for gradual distribution among the expanding membership.
Note: Before November 15th, 2023, it’s important to ascertain whether your account held a balance surpassing 0.005 ETH. Starknet Airdrop Distribution Plan
In early December 2023, the Starknet team disclosed plans to allocate 1.8 billion STRK among the project’s two ecosystem committees. A portion of these funds will facilitate the initial distribution, while the remaining half will establish a revolving fund. Of the 900 million STRK set aside as return funds for community members, the Starknet Foundation will establish a specialized committee to administer rewards for “essential transactions on the network.”
