The launch of Reddit’s exclusive NFT line, CryptoSnoos, was announced in 2021 at the height of the NFT hype. Each NFT asset illustrates Snoo, the platform’s distinguishable alien mascot, depicted in a variety of media from numerous historical periods, such as pixelated block images, disco balls, and sparkling helium balloons.
The stocks of each CryptoSnoo vary. The limited availability of CryptoSnoos on the market is indicated by stickers on Reddit. Legendary, epic, and rare are some of the stickers available.
On OpenSea, a marketplace for non-fungible tokens, CryptoSnoos are available for bidding. To participate in the auction for CryptoSnoos, Redditors must connect their Reddit accounts and create a MetaMask wallet.

CryptoSnoos are distinctive in that they carry details in their code that are one-of-a-kind, much like any other NFT. They can not be used interchangeably. Owners of CryptoSnoos are completely free to do whatever they want with their limited-edition assets.

How to get a CryptoSnoo NFT?
Win the auction on the OpenSea Marketplace if you want a CryptoSnoo NFT from Reddit. Once you’ve paid for a CryptoSnoo NFT, you’ll have access to a URL that leads to a page specifically for that NFT. If you haven’t already, you will be prompted to link your MetaMask wallet to your Reddit account after being redirected from that page to the Avatar Builder on Reddit. You can designate the CryptoSnoo image linked to your NFT as your avatar once your wallet with the NFT and account is synced.

- First, search for available CryptoSnoos in the Reddit avatar generator. In this, Click Get Ready for Auction in the NFT section of the Reddit avatar builder to link your MetaMask wallet to your Reddit account.
- Next, enter the OpenSea auction and place a bid to win! One of the best NFT auction platforms available, OpenSea, hosts CryptoSnoo auctions. Make a bid as soon as the auction begins.
- Claim your CryptoSnoo and take ownership of your NFT. When you win the auction, you should officially take possession of your CryptoSnoo and display it on your Reddit profile.
- On Reddit, use your CryptoSnoo as your avatar. You have the option of making your CryptoSnoo NFT card your public profile avatar.
