For most investors Revolut is therefore the better choice.

justTradeOur Opinion

In the DACH region, justTrade was long perceived as a fee-free trading model. That is no longer the case: under the price and services list dated 8 June 2026, the bank charges an order commission of 0.125 % of the order volume for executing orders in crypto assets, plus the trading venue’s spread. It remains inexpensive by comparison, but it is not free. With 74 tradable cryptocurrencies as real coins, the broker offers a solid range, processed via the BaFin-licensed Sutor Bank. For cost-conscious investors who also want to trade stocks and ETFs alongside crypto, justTrade is considered one of the cheaper options.

Also appreciated is the ability to set up crypto savings plans, as well as the 20-% discount at Blockpit for crypto tax reports. The platform can be used via both app and web and is aimed at investors who prefer an uncomplicated trading environment. Staking via crypto ETPs is seen as a useful addition.

However, wallet transfers to personal wallets are not possible, which is occasionally criticized by users. The minimum deposit of 50 € and the SMS-based 2FA are also considered room for improvement. justTrade is therefore particularly suitable for price-conscious beginners and occasional investors looking for inexpensive access to crypto and securities in a regulated German environment.

RevolutOur Opinion

Revolut is considered one of the most versatile financial apps in the DACH region and is popular with users who want to manage crypto, banking, card payments, and currency exchange in a single application. With more than 300 tradeable cryptocurrencies, Revolut offers by far the broadest coin selection among the brokers compared here. The crypto business sits with the Cypriot entity Revolut Digital Assets (Europe) Ltd., which has held licence CASP001/25 in the CySEC MiCAR register since 20 October 2025. The entity previously named here, RT Digital Securities Cyprus Ltd., is no longer listed there.

Unlike many German neobrokers, Revolut enables both wallet transfers to external wallets and staking and recurring investments. Biometric verification for withdrawals is viewed positively as an additional security feature. Deposits are possible via SEPA, SEPA Instant Transfer, and credit card, which increases flexibility.

Costs call for caution: Revolut advertises exchange fees “from 0 %”, but the small print on the same page states that the fee depends on the plan and the trading volume, and that exchange-rate and subscription fees apply on top. No standard fee is given, neither on the crypto page nor in the fee schedule. Anyone who wants to know the total cost has to work it out for their own plan and their own order size. Revolut is therefore especially suitable for investors looking for a wide selection of coins with wallet functionality in an all-in-one financial app.
