Using our charts
Our charts and statistics on the crypto market are made for everyone who works with verified numbers: newsrooms, blogs, newsletters, schools and universities. You are free to embed them on your site and quote them in your own writing. In return, we ask for three things.
How to use our charts
With a source link
Name CryptoTicker.io as the source and link to the chart’s page. The embed code below every chart already includes this link.
Unchanged
Show the chart as it is, with its wordmark, timestamp and source credit. Width and height adapt to your page.
For showing and citing
The charts are there to be shown and cited. Please do not resell them or offer them as your own data or image product.
Where the numbers come from
Many metrics are based on data from other providers, such as prices or blockchain figures. In that case the chart names both: “Source: CryptoTicker.io, data: …” with the provider’s name. Our own compilations carry the line “Free to embed with a source link: CryptoTicker.io”. Both credits stay in place when you embed a chart.
How to cite a chart
One line is enough, for example “Bitcoin dominance, source: CryptoTicker.io, data: CoinMarketCap”, linked to the chart’s page. The value and timestamp are shown in the chart itself.
