For most investors Trezor Safe 5 is therefore the better choice.
The classic still does its job, but it shows its age: no secure element, no touch input, fewer supported coins. For newcomers we would point to the Trezor Safe 3 or Safe 5; the Model One remains a cheap secondary wallet.
The Safe 5 tops a good many comparison tests in 2026, and deservedly so: it combines open-source transparency with a modern touch interface. If you want to be able to audit what your wallet actually does, this is currently the most complete package on the market.
