ConsenSys Venture Kaleido Invests in APAC

Kaleido, a consenSys company founded in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has announced substantial new investment and expansion of its Blockchain Business Cloud in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region – more specifically, in Seoul and Sydney. This announcement was made at RISE Conference 2018 in Hong Kong.

Increasing economic unification between APAC countries that make up new trade blocs like the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), exponential growth in the e-commerce sector, and increasing cross-border payments indicate that the increased trust and transparency of blockchain are greatly needed.
