Dogecoin, Shiba Inu Coin or Pepe Coin – Which Memecoin to BUY?

Memecoins have received more attention with the rise of Pepe Coins in recent weeks. The current bear market is usually not the time when you start big memecoin bull runs. Still, the coming weeks could present a good opportunity for speculation. But should you rather invest in the Dogecoin, the Shiba Inu Coin or the new Pepe Coin?

A memecoin is a cryptocurrency that has no clear function and no real use, but is mostly there for speculation. Memecoins have a well-known internet meme or an animal as their symbol. These symbols anchor the coin in the minds of potential buyers. Furthermore, the memes can be spread very well on social media.

A memecoin can see massive bull runs in a matter of days due to the massive spread of the meme on social media and through FOMO among new investors. These usually come in a bull market.

Which Memecoin to BUY in in the next few weeks?

At the moment the 3 most popular memecoins are:

We could see a very strong bull run in the coming weeks. This could also boost memecoin prices. But which of these 3 memecoins should you invest in?

1- Dogecoin (DOGE)

The Dogecoin is the oldest memecoin and started the hype surrounding this type of cryptocurrency. As an established coin in the top 10 cryptocurrencies, the Dogecoin has the lowest risk when investing, although the risk is still high due to the speculative nature of these coins. Elon Musk is also considered a fan of the Dogecoin and could advertise it on Twitter.

You can invest in Dogecoin if you:

  • are looking for an established memecoin
  • want to save coins for the bull market
  • you believe in Elon Musk’s growing interest in DOGE

2- Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB)

The Shiba Inu Coin has managed to basically repeat the success of the Dogecoin. Nobody thought in 2020, when the Shiba Inu came into being, that a memecoin could once again duplicate the success of Dogecoin. But in 2021 the SHIB course exploded. The Shiba Inu is even less established than the Dogecoin and has yet to make its mark in this bear market.

You can invest in the Shiba Inu Coin if you:

  • higher risk than you want to take with the Dogecoin
  • believe in greater growth
  • believe in a repeat of 2021

3- Pepe Coin (PEPE)

The latest memecoin sensation is the Pepe Coin. It is a BRC-20 token developed on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. The hype around these tokens and Bitcoin ordinals has led to a surge of over 10x in PEPE over the past few weeks. The Pepe Coin is the latest memecoin among those mentioned and could still show massive growth potential.

You can invest in the Pepe Coin if you:

  • celebrate the idea of BRC-20 tokens
  • want to take maximum risk
  • hoping for 100x or 1000x in the future on this memecoin
