The ever-busy Enjin team completed a major milestone yet again by releasing a blockchain plugin name EnjinCraft for the popular game Minecraft on May 27. The EnjinCraft allows the integration, tokenization, usage and trade of blockchain gaming items in the Minecraft server. Its powered by the Java SDK.
It allows users to integrate blockchain based Minecraft assets, attach blockchain identities to in-game items, ability to link blockchain wallets to servers, display Ethereum and Enjin Coin balances in real time, provide special items and permissions based on player’s inventory, ability to send and process Ethereum transactions to transfer blockchain assets, secure P2P trading of assets within the server and open source modifications of the code.
EnjinCraft Demo Server
The Enjin team has also built a demonstration server to show the various functionalities of the EnjinCraft plugin. It showcases the core functions of wallet linking to access inventory, mini-games to earn blockchain assets and secure trading features.
Implementation MyMetaverse
A custom variant of EnjinCraft will be used by the cross-platform gaming network and experience system called MyMetaverse, which will link Minecraft and Roblox to Core, Discord and beyond. The project will showcase digital life, buildable and tradable land plots, allow any external ENJ based blockchain based asset to be integrated and sold through player’s land plots and ability for players to create their mini games with entry fees / rewards functions.
