Crypto News

Kaleido, a consenSys company founded in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has announced substantial new investment and expansion of its Blockchain Business Cloud in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region – more specifically, in Seoul and Sydney. This announcement was made at RISE Conference 2018 in Hong Kong.

Increasing economic unification between APAC countries that make up new trade blocs like the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), exponential growth in the e-commerce sector, and increasing cross-border payments indicate that the increased trust and transparency of blockchain are greatly needed.

Steve Cerveny, Founder and CEO of Kaleido said

“To meet the unique requirements of enterprises and government organizations, Kaleido is built with enterprise qualities in its DNA.”

Key Features of kaleido

  • Kaleido will be investing in APAC region with AWS. In this, it will be expanding to Seoul and Sydney for their blockchain business cloud services.

The company will use Kaleido to create a consortium around Diabetes Reference Cohort data as well as patient diagnostic data. Using blockchain technologies of Kaleido, the associating companies will be able to securely and swiftly share medical records, lab data, genotype data from microarrays, and DNA data from Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), in order to develop evidence-based treatment plans fitted to each individual patient, while ensuring personal privacy.

It is the first company to create the simplicity of a Software-as-a-Service to the blockchain world, improving well beyond the current generation of blockchain services which are mostly readymade scripts and templates.

Building on our partnership and the significant regional presence with AWS, Kaleido and ConsenSys Solutions APAC are meeting this demand and are well poised to scale and grow quickly throughout the region.
