StarkNet’s STRK Token Drops 25% Following 1.4 Million Token Airdrop

Let’s talk about what happened to StarkNet’s STRK token recently. Think of it like this: imagine you have a toy that suddenly everyone wants, but then, just as quickly, they start to lose interest. That’s kind of what happened with STRK.

The Quick Rise and Faster Fall of STRK

So, STRK just started being traded (which means bought and sold) on Tuesday, February 20. It quickly went up to $3.5, making everyone excited. But then, it didn’t stay up there. It fell almost half from that high point, now being worth less than $1.7.

The Big Drop After Giving Away Tokens

Right now, one STRK is worth $1.7, and if you add up the value of all the STRK tokens, it’s $1.1 billion. On the first day people could trade it, there was a lot of action, and the trading amount reached $1.6 billion. Big places where you can trade digital money, like Binance, started to include StarkNet.

Binance added StarkNet to its services, making it easier for people to deal with STRK. They also made a way for people to earn extra by being flexible with their investments in STRK.

A Huge Token Airdrop Catches Eyes

A group called Lookonchain, who watches Crypto transactions closely, noticed something big. There was a airdrop of 1,432,800 STRK tokens, which is worth $3 million, to 1,361 people. Right after getting these tokens, these people moved their tokens to a special place, showing they were quick to grab their airdrop.

It seems that someone received an #airdrop of 1,432,800 $STRK ($3M) via 1,361 wallets!

What’s So Cool About StarkNet?

StarkNet helps make Ethereum faster and keeps it secure. It uses special math (called STARKs) to check transactions. This is a bit like a magic trick but with numbers. It’s even ready for future tech like quantum computers.

StarkNet plans to give away 50 million STRK tokens to help grow DeFi, hoping more people will use StarkNet. They want to attract more users by offering new tokens through giveaways.

Despite the chance to make a 12% return just by holding onto STRK tokens, some people are upset because they missed out on the free Airdrop.
